1Yelwa Bottle=1 Liter= 1 Acre
At GreenYelwa, we strive to make it easy for the farmer so he can concentrate on other aspects of his business. Yelwa is made such that 1 liter in 1 bottle for 1 acre. That’s all you need for your fertilization. This is music to the ears, if you doubt this, ask our farmers.
- If math is not your strong point, we can make it easy.
- Lets pick a particular crop, say MAIZE.
- You need an average of 6 bags of 50Kg of NPK 15;15;15 and UREA to grow 1 acre per farming cycle.
- For YELWA using the same acre of MAIZE above.
- You need 2-3 applications of YELWA per acre for the farming cycle.
- Considering cost alone, the total cost of using NPK in this scenario is 2.6X more than the cost of using Yelwa.
- The Yelwa end user enjoys an average savings of 62.5% of cost of fertilization comparatively.
These are just the numbers for products without factoring in the numerous other benefits that YELWA brings to the table like :
- Improved germination rate
- Shortened germination time
- Shortened germination to harvest time
- Increased biomass
- Decreased use of pesticides
- Better harvest.
- Better quality crop.
- Produce with longer shelf life.
- Produce with better international marketability.
- Produce grown without harming the earth and planet.
Direction for use
STEP 1: Shake bottle well.
STEP 2: Add 200 mL of YELWA Bio-Start (two standard YELWA green/red cap measures) to 15-20 liters of water in a container or a standard sprayer. Stir well to mix.
A. SOAKS For seed, tuber or stem soaks. Soak in container of diluted Yelwa Bio-Start for the duration noted in Green Yelwa Crop Program Table below. As a general guide- Most Seeds are soaked for 24 hours. Most Stems and Tubers are soaked for a minimum of 1 hour.
B. ROOT DIP If you are transplanting from Nursery, DIP the seedling root in the container of diluted Yelwa Bio-Start. The dip duration may be for 5 seconds or count slowly from number 1 to 5 and then transfer the nursery to the prepped site. This increases transplant survival. Consider following up with early Yelwa Crop Enhancer spray for increased survival.
C. SOIL DRENCH (FOR YELWA SOIL REJUVINATION PROGRAM) After clearing the land, before planting or transplanting, do Soil Drench with diluted Yelwa Bio-Start using a standard sprayer until 1 liter of Yelwa Bio-Start covers 1 acre of land or a proportionate equivalent.
Whatever diluted Yelwa Bio-Start you have left over from the Seed, tuber or stem soak can be re-used for Soil Drench. Do not throw this away please. i.e The Yelwa bio-Start effluent from the soak, can be re-used for soil drench.
1000 mL of YELWA Bio-Start is adequate for 1 Acre. You can do more if you have the resources.
